Dear Bee, May 13. The Chrysanthemum show was held on two days last week, and has always been looked forward to as one of the best of the year, and a pleasant wind up. but it was a great disappointment both in quantity and quality with very few exceptions. but ail the blame can safely be put down to the unfavourable season. The dural displs vs were very effective, the tinted leaves being gorgeous this year owing to early frosts. There were only eight decorated tables. Miss Grace Garforth secured first prize by a large number of votes. Among the visitors were: Mrs. Charles Clark, in black, bonnet and cape relieved with white; Mrs. Mathias; Mrs J.
