C. Seymour, black merveilleux with puffing* of black chiffon, and pink ro*es; Mrs Welford. in pink and white chiffon; Mrs Falconer, black silk and late; Mrs Laery. electric blue silk with yoke, corselet belt, and bows of black velvet: Mrs Fitzgerald looked very nice in black silk and soft pretty white lace: Mr* Fell, black siik and gold ; Mrs Mclntosh, olack moire and cream *atin fn»nt : Mrs Allen, black with -almon pink ribbon bows, and flower* to match in her cap : Mrs Andrews, black and pink siik bows and .*ash. with jewelled star in her hair: Mrs Gudgeon, black silk, white chiffon and pink rose*. Card, pretty blue zephyr frock with bows ard frills: Miss Hay. pink with Watteau bjw to much: Miss L- Falconer, white tulle: Miss Webster looked <o pretty.and was much admired in a soft shade of pink gossamer, with chiffon and riobon bows to m itch ; her sister was in fawn, with pink vest and ribbon bows; Miss La?ry. in e zu- gauze and pink ribbons; Miss Lloyd and her sister both wore pretty fawn costumes: Miss A. White, pretty oaie blue frock. with frills and -hort puffed sleeves ; Mh«sesClare Kenny and Nora Kenny weredn’ssed alike in costumes of brown with white embroidery ; Miss Waddy looked elegant in cream veiling with foot-rucning. and prettily puffed bodice and sleeves; Misses A. Scott, cream silk frock with puffed bodice and sleeves; J. Seymour, white Liberty silk made bebe fashion. which style suits her ; A Falconer, biscuit brocade with Watteau bows of cardinal silk and cardinal chiffon frills : Misses GreensilL silver broche; and S. Greensill in cream veiling in which she looked very nice: Miss Care*, cream silk with ribbons to match : Misses Eyes in fawn silk, the foot frib caught up with ribbon bows; Miss Nora Allen in black lace with pink chiffon frillsand pink ribbon sash. The hall window*, were wide open, and the flags waving too and fro kepr the room pleasantly cool, so that dancing in such warm weather was not too much exertion.
