Inquests.
An inquest was held at the Arowhenua, on the sth ultimo, before B. Woolcombe, Esq., Coroner, on the body of Magdalen Mcßae, aged eighteen months. Verdict —“ Accidentally drowned.”
An inquest was held at Port Lyttelton, on the 28th October, 1868, before J. W. S. Coward, Esq., Coroner, on the body of Charles Baker, aged 62 years. Verdict —“Accidental death.”
An inquest was held on the 29th October, 1868, at Christchurch, before J. W. S. Coward, Esq., Coroner, on the body of Edward Bice, aged fifty. Verdict — “ That the deceased committed suicide by hanging himself whilst in a state of temporary insanity.”
An inquest was held at Christchurch, on the 30th ultimo, before J. W. S. Coward, Esq., Coroner, on the body of John Levell, aged thirty years. Verdict —“ Manslaughter under extenuating circumstances.”
