Native Purposes Bill. I am directed to report that the Native Affairs Committee has carefully considered the Native Purposes Bill, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed, subject to amendments as shown on a copy of the Bill attached hereto. J. O'Brien, Chairman. 7th October, 1941.

I have the honour to report that at its final meeting the Native Affairs Committee unanimously passed the following resolution : " That this Committee desires to record and report to the House its sensibility of the efficient manner in which the Chairman, Mr. James O'Brien, has, by his knowledge of Native affairs, impartiality, and courtesy, conducted the affairs of the Committee during the session." 15th October, 1941.
