Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of ten members, to consider all Bills and other matters relating to mining which may be referred to it: the Committee to consist of Mr. Bodkin, Mr. Denham, Mr. Herring, Mr. Holyoake, the Hon. Mr. Lee Martin: Mr. Moneur, Mr. O'Brien, Captain Rushworth, Mr. Thorn, and the Mover." — (Right Hon. Mr. Savage, for Hon. Mr. Webb.) Thursday, the 30th Day of September, 1937. Ordered, " That all petitions not finally dealt with during the session of 1936 be again referred to the same Committees as they were referred to during the said session."—(Right Hon. Mr. Savage.) Wednesday, the 3rd Day of November, 1937. Ordered, " That the Coal-mines Amendment Bill be referred to the Goldfields and Mines Committee."—(Hon. Mr. Webb.) Tuesday, the 16th Day or November, 1937. Ordered, " That the Petroleum Bill be referred to the Goldfields and Mines Committee."—(Hon. Mr. Webb.) Wednesday, the 24th Day of November, 1937. Ordered, " That the Petroleum Bill be referred to the Goldfields and Mines Committee."—(Hon. Mr. Webb.) Friday, the 26th Day of November, 1937. Ordered, " That the Mining Amendment Bill be referred to the Goldfields and Mines Committee."—(Hon. Mr. Webb.)
