Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of ten members, to consider all matters pertaining to agricultural and pastoral industries and stock which may be referred to it; with power to confer and sit together with any similar Committee which may be appointed by the Legislative Council, and to agree to a joint or separate report: the Committee to consist of Mr. Barclay, Mr. C. H. Burnett, Mr. T. 1). Burnett, Mr. Coulter, Mr. Hunter, Mr. Kyle, Mr. Poison, Mr. Roberts, Mr. Williams, and the Mover." —(Hon. Mr. Lee Martin.) Friday, the 17th day op April, 1936. Ordered, " That all petitions not finally dealt with during the session of 1935 be again referred to the same Committees as they were referred to during the said session." —(Hon. Mr. Savage.)

No. 215, 1935. —Petition of D. A. Fitzgerald, of Shannon. Praying that he be reimbursed for expenses incurred in seeking registration as a dairyfactory manager. I have the honour to report that in the opinion of the Committee the petition should be referred to the Government for most favourable consideration. 7th October, 1936.
No. 200. —Petition of A. R. McDowell, of Palmerston North. Praying that, notwithstanding the Veterinary Surgeons Act, 1926, he be permitted to use the designation " Veterinary Practitioner " in his business.
