Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of ten members, to consider all Bills containing provisions of a technical legal character which may be referred to it; with the power to confer and sit together with any similar Committee appointed by the Legislative Council: the Committee to consist of Mr. Barnard, Mr. Bodkin, Mr. Broadfoot, the Hon. Mr. Cobbe, Mr. Endean, Mr. Field, Mr. Mason, Mr. Schramm, Mr. Jul], and the mover." —(Right Hon. Mr. Forbes for Hon. Sir Apirana Noata.) Ordered, " That the Judicial Proceedings (Regulation of Reports) Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee."—(Hon. Mr. Cobbe.) Ordered, " That the Law of Libel Amendment Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee."—(Hon. Mr. Cobbe.) Ordered, "That the Trustee Amendment Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee."—(Right Hon. Mr. Coates.) Thursday, the 12th Day of October, 1933. Ordered, " That the petitions of E. Page, S.M., and others; H. A. Young, S.M., and others; A. M. Mowlem, S.M., and another; and J. R. Bartholomew, S.M., and another, be referred direct to the Statutes Revision Committee." —(Mr. Endean.) Friday, the 20th Day of October, 1933. Ordered, " That the Orders in Council Confirmation Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee."— (Rev. Mr. Carr.) Ordered, " That the Fire Insurance Companies Liability Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee." —(Mr. Samuel.) Friday, the Bth Day of December, 1933. Ordered, " That the Motor-cabs Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee." —(Mr. Jull.) Thursday, the 14th Day of December, 1933. Ordered, " That the Mortgagors and Tenants Relief Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee."— (Hon. Mr. Cobbe.) Monday, the 18th Day of December, 1933. Ordered, " That the Statutes Revision Committee have leave to sit during the present sitting of the House." —(Mr. Broadfoot.)
