Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of ten members, to consider all Bills or other matters relating to labour which may be referred to it: the Committee to consist of Mr. Armstrong, Mr. Clinkard, Mr. Harris, Mr. H. Holland, Mr. McKeen, the Hon. Mr. McLeod, Mr. W. Nash, Mr. Poison, Mr. Smith, and the mover."—(Hon. Mr. Hamilton.)

Motor-cabs Bill. I have the honour to report that the Labour Bills Committee has carefully considered the abovementioned Bill, and recommends that the Bill be referred to the Local Bills Committee with a view to having amendments made in the Municipal Corporations Bill now before that Committee to more effectively deal with the issuing of taxi-drivers' licenses, particularly in regard to restriction of hours on continuous duty. 22nd November, 1933.
Weights and Measures Amendment Bill. I have the honour to report that the Labour Bills Committee has carefully considered the abovementioned Bill, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed without amendment. 22nd November, 1933.
