I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry. sth October, 1928. Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Bill. I am directed to report that the Native Affairs Committee, to which was referred the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Bill, has duly considered the same, and is of opinion it should be allowed to proceed, subject to the amendments as shown on a copy of the Bill attached hereto. sth October, 1928.
