No. 226/25. —Petition of Himiona Torepe and 18 Others. That a rehearing may be granted in connection with te Upokorakaitauheke Block, in the Town of Timaru. I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion this petition should be referred to the Government to favourably consider the introduction of legislation enabling the Ikaroa Maori Land Board to deal with the disposal of the land in question. 22nd September, 1925.
