Praying for investigation into the purchase by the Crown of the Kaingaroa No. 1 Block, and also as to certain members of Ngatimanawa Hapu being left out of title. I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry. 10th September, 1925. No. 385/24. —Petition of P. Pomare and Another. For inquiry into alleged wrongful inclusion of certain persons, having no rights, in the title to the Islands of Rangitutahi and Motuhara. I am directed to report that the petitioners have asked leave to withdraw this petition, and the Committee recommends that permission be given to do so. J oth September, 1925. No. 386/24.—Petition of Takirua Hota and Another. That they be appointed trustees for the owners of Lot 10, Village of Mangere (Church Reserve). I am directed to report that, as the question involved has been disposed of by legislation, the Committee had no recommendation to make. (See section 28 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1924.) 10th September, 1925. [Translation.] No. 386/24. —Pitihana a Takirua Hota me tetahi. atu.
