I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make, petitioner not having exhausted her legal remedies. _ 9th December, 1918.

No. 13 of Session 11, 1918.—Petition of Charles H. Nioholls, of Kaikoura. Praying for compensation for the loss of his launch. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee the hearing of this petition must be adjourned to next session, the Defence Department not having yet supplied the Committee with its report on the petition. 9th December, 1918.
