Work done during year: Scrub cleared, preparation of sports-ground commenced, trees thinned, and undergrowth cleared. Improvements now on domain : Fences, 89 acres plantation, footpaths, and four artesian wells. Used as promenade and for picnics. Area, 7 acres. Work done during year: Trees topped, others removed, and drainage improvements effected. Improvements now on domain : Pavilion, conveniences, two wells, fencing, and plantation. Used for cricket, football, picnics, and general recreation. Ruapuna Domain. Reserve No. 3034, Block X, Shepherd's Bush Survey District. Area, 27 acres. During the year 24 acres was leased, for a crop of oats and sowing down in grass. Three acres was ploughed and resown in grass, new gate and posts erected, and trees topped. Improvements now ..n domain: Plantation, fencing, and grassing. Twenty-four acres leased. It is proposed to lease the area for grazing. Reserve No. 3139. Situated in Block IX, Cheviot Survey District. Area, 5 acres 1 rood. This domain is under the control of tin I ioner of Crown Lands, Christchureh. It comprises a strip of land between the Burton and Jed Rivers, and consists principally of sandhills. Some trees have been planted and the area improved by drainage.
