Work done during year : Ground levelled and fences repaired. Improvements now on domain: Fences, drains, sheds, cricket-pitch, and ornamental trees. Used for cricket, football, sports, and picnics. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Acquiring ground, clearing, fencing, levelling, and grassing. Runanoa Domain. Reserve No. 361, Block XXXIX, Town of Runanga. Area, 19 acres 3 roods 16 perches. The Board proposes to undertake the work of underscrubbing and clearing the domain at an early date.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT. Akaroa Domain. Reserves Nos. 88 and 1724. Akaroa Survey District, and Section No. 45, Town of Akaroa. Area, 10 acres 2 roods. During the year the caretaker has been occupied in cleaning and repairing walks and paths, and trimming hedges and maintaining fences. Improvements now on domain : Fences, hedges, summer-house, blockhouse, two bridges, fountain, water-supply, gates, garden-seats, asphalt tennis-court, and avenue of trees and shrubs. Used for tennis, picnics, and general recreation. Proposed operations for ensuing year : General maintenance. Alford Forest Domain. Reserve No. 2738, Block V, Spaxton Survey District. Area, 13 acres 3 roods 2 perches. Work done during year: Gates, gate-posts, and fencing erected, gorse grubbed, noxious weeds eradicated, and domain sown in grass. Improvements now on domain : Fencing, plantations and grassing. Used for grazing. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Replacing failures in plantations. Arowhenua Domain. Reserves Nos. 3003 to 3013, and 3412, Town of Arowhenua. Area, 10 acres 2 roods 38 perches. During the year the course of the creek running through the domain has been kept clear of weeds. A permanent hand is employed for the purpose. Leased for cropping and grazing. Arundel Domain. Pieserve No. 2965, Block 111, Town of Arundel. Area, 4 acres 1 rood G perches. Work done during year: Ground ploughed, grass sown, and fences attended to. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Levelling domain, trimming hedges, and erecting new gate.
