Oruru (Peria), Wednesday, 10th May, 1905. The Commission met at Peria at 1 p.m. Present: All the Commissioners except Messrs. Hall and McLennan, absent on leave. The following witnesses were heard: Messrs. Thomas, Wilkinson (2), Garland, Pearson.. Thompson, Lambley, Jonson, James, Wallace, Johnson, James (representing the local FarmersClub), Blyth, Thomson, and McKay. The Commission adjourned at 3.50, and went on to Kaitaia.

Kaitaia, Thursday, 11th May, 1905. Present: All the Commissioners except Messrs. Johnston, Hall, and McLennan, when the Commission met at 9.30 a.m. The following witnesses were heard: Messrs. Le Coustre, Williamson, Smith, Puckey, Bunthorue, Fisher, and Hose. The Commission adjourned at 1 p.m. Mangonui, Friday, 12th May, 1905. The Commission met at Mangonui at 10 a.m. Present: All the Commissioners but. Messrs. Hall, McLennan, and Johnston, absent on leave. The following witnesses were heard: Messrs. Carton, Foster, Shaven, Harris, Houston, M.H.R., Gillbrand, and Daly. The Commission adjourned at 3.30 p.m. Kohukohu, Monday, 15th May, 1905. The Commission left Mangonui on Saturday, the 13th, stayed at Ohaeawai on Sunday, the 14th, and reached Kohukohu at 11.30 on Monday, the 15th, and met at 1.30. Present: All the Commissioners, Mr. McKerrow, Chairman, in the chair. The following witnesses were heard : Messrs. Harris, Buchanan, Bacon, Wallace, Vaughan, Kempfer, Schreider, Grey, Mardon, Denaker, Dawes, Hartley, Garborough, Ny Hare (Mr. Webster interpreting), Allingham, and Holland. . The evidence closed at 8.55. The Commission adjourned at 10 p.m. Rawene, Tuesday, 16th May, 1905. The Commission met at 9.30 a.m. The minutes of the meeting of Monday, the 15th May, were read and confirmed in committee. The following witnesses were heard: Messrs. Blundell, McLeod, Stevenson, Ohlsen, and Menzies. The Commission adjourned at 12.30. Omapere, Tuesday, 16th May, 1905. The Commission met at 4.40 p.m. Present: Messrs. McKerrow (in the chair), Aiisfey, McLennan, McCutchan, McCardle, and Matheson. The following witnesses were heard: Messrs. Boyd, Page, Pullen, Bury, Andrewes, Hedger, Mitchell, Bourke, Hawkings, and Corfield. The Commission adjourned at 6.50, returning to Rawene at 10 p.m. Taheke, Wednesday, 17th May, 1905. The Commission, starting at 7 a.m., reached Taheke at 9, and met at 10. In committee the minutes were read and confirmed of the meeting at Rawene of the previous The following witnesses were heard: Messrs. White, Goodar, Jones, Proctor, Foster, Glover. and O'Connell. . . . The Commission adjourned at 12.30, and proceeded to Ohaeawai, arriving at 4.30 p.m.
