Dhabawai, Thursday, 18th Mat, 1905. The Commission met at 9.30 a.m. PreaSHt: All the Commissioners. In Committee the minutes were read and confirmed of the meeting at Taheke of the I fth May. The following witnesses were heard: Messrs. Clark, Fuller, Nicholson, Close, Ludbrook, Kemp, and Lenbardt. The Commission adjourned at 3.15.

Hukerenui, Friday, 19th Mat, 1905. The Commission, which arrived from Ohaeawai the previous evening at Kawakawa, went on at 8 a.m. on the 19th by coach, and met at Hukerenui at 11 a.m. Present: All the Commissioners. In committee the minutes were read and confirmed of the meeting at Ohaeawai of the 18th. The following witnesses were heard : Messrs. Bedley, Johnson, Rowley, Gray, Oetzmann, liutcliiiison, J. C. Johnson, Lambert, and Mitchell. The Commissioners adjourned at 2.50, and proceeded by train to Whangarei.

Whangarei, Saturdat, 20th Mat, 1905. The Commission met at 9.53 a.m. Present: All the Commissioners, Mr. McKerrow in the chair. hi committee the minutes of the meeting at Hukerenui of the 19th May were read and confirmed. The following witnesses were heard: Messrs. Mackenzie, Commissioner of Crown Lands; McLean, Armstrong, Kellow, A. G. MacKenzie, Hawkins, Crewe, McDonald, Parker, Wakelin, Pullman, Cuttworth, Wolfe, Heywood, Fraser, Hawkins, Bradshaw, Pollock, Ramsbottam, Kernohan, Griffin, Atkinson, and Rhys. The Commission adjourned at 5.30 p.m.

Whanoahki, Sunday, 21st May, 1905. The Commission met at 8.30 p.m. Present: All the Commissioners, Mr. McKerrow in the chair. In committee the Commissioners considered the extension of time and the further itineraries till 11 p.m. The Commission adjourned at 11 p.m.

Kaihu, Tuesday, 23rd May, 1905. The Commission left Whangarei on the 22nd at 8.30 a.m., reached Dargaville via Wharekohe at 11.30 p.m., arrived in Kaihu (having proceeded there by special train) on the 23rd, and met there at 10 a.m. Present • All the Commissioners except Messrs. Hall and Johnston, absent on leave. In committee the minutes were read and confirmed of the Whangarei meetings of the 20th The following witnesses were heard: Messrs. Trounson, Tuohey, Oliver, Troenson, Smith, and Shannon. The Commission adjourned at 2.15 p.m.

Dahgavili.u, Tuesday, 23rd May, 1905. The Commission met at Dargaville at 4.30 p.m. Present: All the Commissioners except Mr. Hall, absent on leave. The Commission adjourned at 9 p.m.

Dargaville, Wednesday, 24th Mat, 1905. The Commission met at 9.45 a.m. Present : All the Commissioners except Messrs. Hall and Johnston, absent on leave.
