RAILWAY OFFICIALS. (DETAILS OF SALARIES, ALLOWANCES, APPOINTMENTS, AND PROMOTIONS.)
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 20th September, 1893. Ordered, " That a return be laid upon the table of this House (in continuation of D.-8 and D.-123, 1893, as to officers in the Eailvvay Department), giving similar information as to salaries down to the 30th June, 1893, and as to travelling-allowances for the last financial year, and for the following three months down to the 30th June, 1893 ; and for a further return, giving similar information, under both heads of the foregoing returns, as to all officers receiving salaries of £200 per annum and upwards who have been appointed or promoted by the Commissioners subsequent to the 27th January, 1889, down to the 30th June, 1893."—(Mr. G.
