On resignation or alteration of present members, Government propose to appoint Board consisting of District Engineer, Resident Magistrate, Collector of Customs, Chief Postmaster, Assistant Engineer, District Railway Manager, and Clerk of Court. The Assistant Seceetaey, Marine Department, to the Seceetaky, Westport Harbour Board. (Telegram.) Wellington, 27th March, 1888. Minister directs me to inform you that Governor in Council has removed all the members of Westport Harbour Board from their seats, except Mr. Hughes, who has resigned.
