Minister directs me to inform you that Governor in Council has appointed Francis William Martin, District Engineer, Greymouth; John Alexander Wilson, Assis-tant-Engineer; Henry St. John Christophers, Eailway Manager; Frank Bird, Eesident Magistrate ; William James Eodgerson, Collector of Customs; Eobert Kaye, Postmaster; and Ernest Charles Kelling, Clerk to Court, all of Westport, to be members of Westport Harbour Board, in place of James Colvin, John Fennell, Timothy Gallagher, William Mailer, Eugene Joseph O'Conor, Jules Simon, and John Hughes respectively. Adverting to my telegram of yesterday's date, I have the honour, by direction of the Minister having charge of this department, to inform you that His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to appoint Francis William Martin, District Engineer, of Greymouth, and John Alexander Wilson, Assistant Engineer; Henry St. John Christophers, District Manager of Eailways; Frank Bird, Eesident Magistrate; William James Eodgerson, Collector of Customs; Eobert Kaye, Postmaster; and Ernest Charles Kelling, Clerk to Court, all of Westport, to be members of the Westport Harbour Board, in place of James Colvin, John Eennell, Timothy Gallagher, William Mailer, Eugene Joseph O'Conor, and Jules Simon, who have been removed from their position as members of the Board, and John Hughes, resigned; and that notifications of these appointments and removals will appear in the next number of the Neiu Zealand Gazette.
