Nobmasbx, Governor. ORDER IN COUNCIL. At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-third day of July, 1878. Present: His Excellency the Governor in Council. In pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the three hundred and fiftieth section of " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1876," and upon the request of the Borough of Tapanui, His Excellency the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby order that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall he and the same is hereby reserved out of the waste lands of the Provincial District of Otago, for the purpose of granting- the same to the Corporation of the Borough of Tapanui.
SCHEDULE. All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago, containing by admeasurement one thousand four hundred and seventy-three (1,473) acres and two (2) poles, more or less, being Sections numbered eight (8), nine (9), twelve (12), thirteen (13), fourteen (14), and fifteen (15), Block sixteen (XVI.), Crookston Survey District. Bounded towards the North by Sections numbered 18 and 19, Block XVIL, Crookston Survey District, and Sections numbered 48 and 44, Block IV., said district; towards the East by Section numbered 7, and a road line in Block XVL aforesaid; towards the South by Sections numbered 10 and 11, said block ; and towards the West by Sections numbered 12, 11, 10, and 9, Block XIII., Crookston Survey District aforesaid. In pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the three hundred and fiftieth section of " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1876," and upon the request of the Borough of St. Kilda, His Excellency the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby order that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby reserved out of the waste lands of the Provincial District of Otago, for the purpose of granting the same to the Corporation of the Borough of St. Kilda.
SCHEDULE. All that area in the Provincial District of Otago, containing byr admeasurement five hundred (500) acres, more or less, situate in Run No. 48, and being Sections numbered three (3) of Block five (V.), and four (4) of Block two (II.), Waipori Survey District. Bounded towards the North by a road line; towards the East by Section No. 5 of Block 11., and Sections Nos. 4 and 5, Block V.; towards the South by the Waipori River; and towards the West- by Sections No. 2, Block V., and 3, Block 11.
