Extracts from the Journals of the House of Representatives. Friday, the 6th Day of September, 1935. Ordered " Tliat a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of ten members, to consider all matters relating to public health, infectious diseases, contagious diseases, hospitals, and to local authorities having charge of these matters, and to other matters affecting public health which may be referred to it; the Committee to consist of Mr. Clinkard, Mr. Healy, Mr. Kyle, Mr. Munro, Mr Parry, Mi. Richards, Mr. Stallworthy, Mr. Stuart, Mr. Sykes, and the Mover."—(Hon. Sir Alexander Young.) Tuesday, the 10th Day of September, 1935. Ordered " That all petitions not finally dealt with during the session of 1934-35 be again referred to the same Committees as they were referred to during the said session." —(Eight Hon. Mr. Forbes.) Thursday, the 24th Day of October, 1935. Ordered, " That the Public Health Committee have leave to sit during the present sitting of the House."— (Mr. Sykes.)

Special Report. I have the honour to report that at its final meeting the Public Health Committee passed the following resolution: That this Committee desires to place on record its appreciation ot the courteous manner displayed by the Chairman, Mr. G. Special Report. I have the honour to report that at its final meeting the Public Health Committee passed the followmg resolution: " That this Committee desires to place on record its appreciation of the efficient manner m which the Clerk, Mr. E. A. Dobbie, has carried out his duties during' the session, and directs that this resolution be reported to the House." 25th October, 1935.
Final Report. I have the honour to report that the Public Health Committee, consisting of ten members has during the session held three meetings, with an average attendance at each meeting of six members.
