LOCAL AUTHORITIES SUPERANNUATION ACT, 1908, NUMBER AND NAMES OF LOCAL AUTHORITIES WHICH HAVE ADOPTED SCHEME.
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the Ist June, 1916. Ordered, "That there bo laid before this House a return showing the number and names of local bodies in the Dominion who have taken advantage of the Looal Authorities Superannuation Act, and have adopted some soheme of granting retiring-allowances to their employees; such return to bliow tho payments made to the different funds by the employees and the local authority, and the anticipated retiring-allowances proposed to be paid to the employees."— (Mr. Okey.)

Anticipated Retiring-alloivance proposed to be paid to Employees. Note.—lt is impossible to give the anticipated retiring-allowances, but the scale thereof is fixed by the Act. The above information has been obtained from particulars supplied in the balance-sheets of the respective local authorities. J. Hislop, Under-Secretary.
