BEPOETS. Banking Amendment Bill. The Public Accounts Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it has carefully considered the same, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed with the amendments as shown on the copy of the Bill annexed hereto. 4th August, 1914.

Estimates of Expenditure of the Government of New Zealand for the Year ending 31st March, 1915. The Public Accounts Committee, to which was referred the estimates of expenditure of the Government of New Zealand for the year ending the 31st March, 1915, has the honour to report that it has carefully considered the same, and recommends that the estimates be allowed to proceed with the corrections as shown on the attached copy. For tl.v information of the House I am also instructed to report the details of expenditure for the year 1913- in Che following items in Class 111 (Post and Telegraph Department).

2nd September, 1914. Parliamentary Paper 8.-1 a in Detail of the Expenditure of the Public Account. The Public Accounts Committee, to which the Government referred paper 8.-1 a (Public Accounts for New Zealand for Year ended the 31st March, 1914), has the honour to report the same, together with a communication received by the Committee from the Secretary of the Treasury wherein he states that a great amount of work is entailed in including in the Public Accounts the detail of incidental expenses of each estate under the Land for Settlements Account, and suggesting that this system be discontinued. The Committee desires to report it is of opinion that the system of accounts in reference to land-for-settlement estates as at present shall obtain. 27th October, 1914.

Parliamentary Paper 8.-l (Part II). —Abstract of the Revenue and Expenditure of the Public Account. The Public Accounts Committee, to which was referred paper 8.-l, Part 11, embodying the revenue and expenditure of the Pu-blic Account for the year ended the 31st March, 1914, together with the report of the Controller ajid Auditor-General thereon, has the honour to report it has considered same, and recommends that it do lie upon the table. 27th October, 1914.

New Zealand Loans Amendment Bill. The Public Accounts Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it has carefully considered the same, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed without amendment. 27th October, 1914.

Special Report. I am directed to report that the Committee desires to place on record its appreciation of the courtesy and tact manifested by the Chairman (Mr. Bine) in presiding over the deliberations of the Committee during the session. 29th October, 1914.
