SALES OF TOTARA FORESTS AND EXPENDITURE ON ROADS IN TOTARA DISTRICTS (RETURN OF).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated tht 24th July, 1903. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing—(l) All moneys received by the Government the sale of totara forests in the North Island from the 31st March, 1895, to the 31st March, 1903 ; (2) what aocounts are credited with the proceeds, and the sum placed to the credit of each account; and (3) the moneys epent on roads in totara-growing districts during the above-mentioned periods."—(Mr. Jennings.)
