Promotions made amongst non-commissioned officers and troopers to non-commissioned officers in South Africa are not given, the men being given, with a few exceptions, the same rank as stated in Contingent Eolls. The six invalids above referred to are: Farrier Wilson, 2nd Contingent; Trooper McKinder, 3rd Contingent; Trooper Boyes, 6th Contingent; Sergeant Smith, 6th Contingent; Trooper Wooller, 6th Contingent; Trooper Martin, 6th Contingent. The " details " from other corps are : W. Hutchison, of Dunedin, belonging to the Ehodesian Field Force; Corporal Humphrey of the 7th; Lieutenant Lundon of the 2nd; and Sergeant Fraser, also of the 2nd. As to the men belonging to other corps, they include Lieutenant V.
