Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 13th July, 1899. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return giving particulars of the Native lands purohased by the £219,987 taken out of the North Island Main Trunk Railway Million Loan, and of any transactions in connection with such lands, and how the proceeds have been dealt with."—(Mr. G^pUTCHisoN.)
