Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 29th June, 1892. Ordered, " That a return be laid before this House setting forth the names, rank, age, and years of service of all officers who have resigned or been discharged by the Government since January, 1891, to date, the rate of salary at date of discharge, and the amount of compensation, retiring-allowance, or rate of pension to be paid ; also the salary of officers succeeding to the respective vacancies where such have been appointed, and the cost if the duties are now otherwise discharged."—(Mr. Duthie.)
