NAVAL AND MILITARY LAND-CLAIMS.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 13th July, 1&92. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return, in the form of Schedule A to ' The Naval and Military Settlers' and Volunteers' Land Act, 1891,' —(1) of all those claiming under the Naval and Miltary Settlers' and Volunteers' Land Acts, 1889 and 1891, whose claims have been paid in cash ; (2) of all those whose claims have been satisfied by scrip; (3) of all those who have exercised such scrip; (4) of all those whose approved claims remain unsatisfied; and (5) a statement of the number of all other claims received which have yet to be heard and reported on: such return to also give a summary of the numbers of the claimants and of the amounts respectively paid, satisfied, approved, or claimed, and to cover the period from the 30th day of September, 1889, to the 30th day of June, 1892." —(Hon.
