Ordered, " That a return bo laid before this House showing the number of committals of children to industrial schools on Magistrates' orders from Ist January, 1883, to 31st March, 1888; showing separately the committals under subsections (1) and (3) of section 16 of ' The Industrial Schools Act, 1882,' and also showing the several charitable-aid districts in which ths committals have been made." —(Mr. Jones.)
