ROYAL COMMISSIONS ISSUED (RETURN OF).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 4th July, 1883. Ordered, " That there be laid upon the table a Return showing—(l) the number of Royal Commissions that have been issued since the Ist day of June, 1879, and the names of the Commissioners; (2) the subjects which the Commissioners were to inquire into and report upon; (3) the respective amounts paid to each Commissioner, and the total respective cost of each Commission." — (Mr. Holmes.)
