Note.—The Counties of Kawhia, East Taupo, West Taupo, Sounds, Fiord, and Stewart Island are exempt from the operation of the Counties Act. In the Counties of Eden, Manukau, Raglan, Marlborouerh. Cheviot, Ashley, and Peninsula, the whole Act was not in force. '
