RUGBY LEAGUE
SYDNEY TEAM’S VISIT SYDNEY, July 11 Balmain, Sydney’s premier Rugby League side, will travel to New Zealand at the end of th' season for a series of four matches in ti Auckland district. An invitation from aie Auckland Rugby League was received today. The tour will open on October 13 and the four matches will be spread over three weeks. Balmain will send a strong team. It had four men in the New South Wales side which defeated Queensland in June in Sydney. The team will travel by boat. The original intention was to fly to and from New Zealand, but the required space was not available.
