THEATRE ATTRACTION
J. C. WILLIAMSON COMPANY On Wednesday and Thursday, June 7 and 8, the J. C. Williamson comedy company will present in the Theatre Royal, Hamilton, two of its most notable productions. The initial presentation on the Wednesday will be Joseph Kesselring’s comedydrama, “Arsenic and Old Lace,” which is in its fourth year in New York and which delighted audiences in Sydney and Melbourne for over 12 months. It will be followed on the Thursday by “Claudia” in which the Waikato actress, Bettina Welch, will appear in the title role. The cojnpany is headed by Lloyd Lamble and Neva Carr Glynn. The box plan will be opened at Lewis Eady's on Thursday, June 1.
