NEW SERUM DEVELOPED

MAY PROLONG LIFE TO 125 (Received Jan. 18. 1 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 17. A new serum that by stimulating the life tissues and preventing infection may enable man to live to 125 years has been developed by a Russian scientist, Dr. Alexander Bogomoletz. Dr. Bogomoletz claims that the serum will reduce the severity of typhus and other infections, prevent the recurrence of cancer after an operation, help schisophrenic and other insane patients and provide a quick and certain cure for arthritis. The serum is made by injecting cells from the spleens and bone marrow of human corpses into horses. The subjects chosen are usually young and healthy persons who died accidentally. The final serum is an extract of the horse's blood.
