STOP-WORK MEETING
BUILDING TRADE WORKERS (By Telegraph.—rress Association) AUCKLAND, Saturday About 2500 building trade workers at a stop-work meeting in the Town Hall today again deferred direct action in connection with the reduction in fares and travelling time under the Essential Industries Buildings Works Order. The reason given in a statement released after the meeting was the belief that industry should not be dislocated at the present time. Hopes were still entertained it stated that a satisfactory solution would be reached.
