WELLINGTON DRIVERS NORTHERN MOVE EMULATED (Bv Telegraph.—rress Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday The railway bus services on the Wellington-Hutt and Wellington -Ngaio-Khandallah routes will be affected by a decision of the Petone motor service branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants not to operate the buses cn Sundays. The branch states that at a special meeting held at midnight on Tuesday the drivers decided not to work on Sundays until they are granted double rates of pay to bring them into line with the remainder of the railway servants. The Railway Department declined to make any statement when interviewed about the matter today.
