BUILDING SOCIETY’S YEAR

The directors’ report to be presented at the 20th annual meeting of the Hamilton Permanent Investment and Builoing Society, states that the share capital of the society at July 31, 1943, comprised 44 “A” investment shares of £SO each, 107 “B” shares at £25 each, and 291 “C” shares at £lO each (fully paid). The balance at credit of profit and loss appropriation is £267 13s 3d, from which the directors have declared a dividend of 5 per cent., which will absorb £264 12s 6d, leaving £23 Os 9d to be carried forward. Messrs E. A. Butt and W. H. Blakeway, retiring directors, are eligible for re-electiom Mr T. G. Reynolds, retiring auditor, is also available for re-appointment.
