HAMILTON BAPTISTS
NEW MINISTER WELCOMED The minister-elect of the Hamilton Baptist Church, the Rev. F. H. Carter, was extended a public welcome in the church last night. The secretary, Mr R. G. P. Brownless, presided. Addresses of welcome were given by Mr E. Woodward, on behalf of the congregation; Mr E. McGregor, of Morrinsville, representing the South Auckland Baptist Auxiliary; the Rev. C. L. French, representing the Hamilton Ministers’ Association. Mr Carter suitably replied. The induction service will be conducted on Sunday morning by the Rev. Dr. J. J. North, principal of the New Zealand Baptist College.
