SUPPLY SHIP SUNK
DUTCH SUBMARINE’S SUCCESS (Received Sept. 8, 1 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 7 The Netherlands Admiralty announces that a Netherlands submarine operating with the Royal Navy in the south-west Pacific sank a Japanese supply ship of 5000 tons in the Straits of Malacca, which separates the enemy-occupied territory of the Malay States and Sumatra.
