SEASONAL MOVEMENT “The present is the between-season period for dairymen, and the labour position is necessarily fluid. Many changes are being made by sharemilkers, and until they get settled down in new quarters we cannot say whether there will be a shortage of employees for the farms. It seems quite probable at present that there will not be enough to maintain production. We therefore propose to leave this reservist on the farm until August, when the situation will be reviewed.” This was the reference made by the chairman of the No. 2 Armed Forces Appeal Board, Mr S. Paterson, S.M., at the Hamilton sitting today, when the board granted adjournment of an appeal for a young reservist farmer, whose place on the farm it was proposed to till with a married sharemilke
