PERSONAL
Mr R. P. Smith has been appointed representative of trade unions on the Hamilton Emergency Precautions Service committee, with Air E. A. Waters as his deputy. This information was received by the Hamilton Borough Council in a communication at last night’s meeting. Messrs E. G. Williams (Dunedin), A. AI. Satterthwaite (Christchurch), J. S. Murray, W. N. McNeil, J. Thompson (Wellington), J. Christenson, E. Edwards, T. W. Madgewick, E. M. Betts, R. M. Irwin (Palmerston North), N. Svenson (Wanganui), W. Jones (Huapai), D. M. Farland (Te Aroha), AlcCallum (Tatuanui), and J. Casey (Te Awamutu) are at the Commercial Hotel. Messrs G. Sinclair, G. Phillips, E. O. Smyth (Nelson), W. E. Ellis, W. ! Angus, W. D. Gilmour (Alasterton), i F. S. Alilne, I. S. McFarlane, D. Mor- ; timer, J. Hudner (Auckland) and R. ! Galbraith (Raetini) are at the Hamilton Hotel.
