BAND CONCERT

AIR FORCE PRESENTATION A musical treat is in store for the musically appreciative public of Hamilton tonight, when the band of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, which is visiting Hamilton, will present a concert at the Theatre Royal at 8 p.m. Known for the perfect co-ordina-tior between the conductor and the bandsmen, the band has a large repertoire which includes Tschaikowski’s “1812 Overture,” “Slavonic Rhapsody,” “Maori Rhapsody,” “William Tell” overture and many others. “The Band Comes Late” in which the bandsmen turn the tables on those people who annoy the audience and performers by arriving late, is said to be very funny. The band is under Flight-Lieu-tenant Gladstone Hill, Director of Music, R.N.Z.A.F.
