DAY OF PRAYER

KING EXPRESSES WISH The Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall, has received the following message from the private secretary to the King:— “It is the desire of His Majesty the King that Sunday, March 29, should be observed as a national day of prayer. His Majesty hopes that on this day his people will, wherever possible, unite in giving thanks to Almighty God for past blessings and in humble prayer for strength and guidance in facing the tasks that lie ahead.”
