OBJECTORS NOT WANTED

RUGBY UNION’S FEELING COMPLETE BAN FAVOURED HASTINGS, Tuesday If the Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union, at its annual meeting on Friday, adopts a recommendation from the Hastings sub-union, anyone who refuses to wear the King’s uniform will be debarred from joining all Rugby clubs and debarred from all grounds under the jurisdiction of the union. When the question was raised at the annual meeting of the sub-union, Mr R. P. Tabley said several conscientious objectors had played last season. His attitude was that if they could play they could fight. The recommendation to the union met with entire approval.
