BOMBING RAIDS

DOVER AND NORTH FRANCE (Official Wireless) (Received March 25, 3.15 p.m.) RUGBY, March 24 It was learned in London this afternoon that Royal Air Force bombers, escorted by fighters, attacked objectives in Northern Fr.gice, all the bombers returning safely. Further reports of the operations are not yet available. A second enemy aircraft was destroyed over Britain last night. The south-east coast town which was the object of last night’s bombing raid was Dover, in which area it is reported that the first enemy bomber announced as destroyed was brought down by the efforts of a night fighter and the Home Guard.
