THEFT FROM EMPLOYERS Arising out of trouoie at the factory where he was employed in Hamilton, a youth named Alfred Gordon Jones, aged 20, of Frankton Junction, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court, Hamilton, today, with theft of 10s, the property of his employers, on February 11. De-tective-Sergeant W. R. Murray prosecuted, and Jones was represented by Mr W. J. King, who said the charge was admitted. The whole affair was a foolish prank, and Jones’ employers would be glad to continue employing him. Counsel asked for leniency. Mr W. H. Freeman, S.M., suggested that £2 be paid to the patriotic funds, and recorded no penalty, under section 18 of the Probation for First Offenders Act,
