STORE SHEEP SELL WELL Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited ! report on their Hamilton sheep sale held on Wednesday as follows:—There was an exceptionally heavy yarding of sheep, comprising, for the main part, sheep from the Raglan, Waitetuna and Waingaro districts, with several lines from the East Coast. Practically a total clearance was ' effected at highly satisfactory prices. | Chief sales comprised a line of 102 5-year ewes ex Waitetuna. JEI; a line of 210 4 and 5-year ewes. 17s; a line of 210 M.A. ! low-conditioned ewes ex Whakatane, 11s 6d; a line of 2-tooth ewes ex Waitetuna, 265; a line of 2-tooth ewes ex Waingaro, 245. Smaller lots of ewes realised as follows:—M.A. ewes, 13s to 15s 6d; cull ewes, 6s 6d to 10s 6d; 2-tooth wethers, 17s 3d to 20s 6d. Lambs: Whiteface wether lambs, good, 16s 2d to 16s 4d; smaller, 12s to 15s Id; small shorn wether lambs, Whiteface, 12s to 13s Id; shorn ewe lambs, Whiteface, 12s 6d to 14s; cull ewe lambs, 10s to 11s; small cull shorn lambs, 6s to 8s 6d; Blackface woolly wether lambs, 14s 7d. The Ne-.v Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited report as follow's:—A large yarding of breeding ewes and store lambs came forward and prices were on a par with late rates. 5-year ewes sold to 17s; shorn ewe lambs, 18s to 19s; shorn wether lambs, 11s to 15s 9d; older ewes, 8s to 10s; Southdown rams, to 3\ 2 guineas. RAXGIRIRI SALE The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Limited report on their Rangiriri sale as follows:—A good yarding of station-bred cattle met with a good demand. The sheep yarding comprised a large penning of store lambs and several pens of breeding ewes. Competition throughout was good and practically a total clearance w T as effected. Prices were Hereford cows with calves at foot. £5 10s to £6 2s 6d; yearling Polled Angus steers, £4 15s to £5; yearling Hereford steers. £4 17s 6d to £5 ss; yearling Hereford heifers, £4 to £4 15s; boner cows, £3 15s to £4 15s; potter bulls, £1 to £1 12s; M.A. bleeding ewes, 18s to 21s; 4 and 5-year breeding ewes, 14s to 17s 3d; aged ewes. 8s 6d to 10s 3d, good woolly ewe lambs, 18s 6d to 20s 3d; shorn ewe lambs, 14s to 17s 9d; good woolly wether lambs, 14s to 15s 9d; good shorn w’ether lambs, 13s 6d to 14s 3d; medium shorn wether lambs, 10s to 11s 9d; cull wether lambs. 7s to 9s 6d; 1-shear Romney rams, 2V2gns. to sgns.: 2-shear Southdown rams, 2gns to 3Lgns. __
