AT WAR WITH JAPAN
NEW ZEALAND DECLARATION ASSEMBLY’ OF PARLIAMENT (By Telegraph.—Frebs Association) WELLINGTON, Tuesday The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, announced that the existence of a state of war between His Majesty’s Government in New Zealand and Japan had been declared as from 11 ajn. (New Zealand summer time) on December 8, 1941. Mr Fraser also announced that after further consideration it had been decided to call Parliament together next Thursday, December 11.
