Touch fighting lies ahead, said the Caiio • spokesman, and the military spokesman in Berlin declared that the British have mustered such formidable forces that the Germans must reckon on hard fighting during the next few days. The Cairo spokesman said the battle has been handled extremely well. The general feeling in informed Circles is quiet confidence. There is every hope that the temporary junctirn with the force from Tobruk will beer mo solid with the arrival of large British forces from the south and east and the relief of Tobruk appears to be imminent.
