OCCUPANTS OF BURNING HOUSE

(By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Saturday Roused by the crying of a baby, the occupants of a house at Northland discovered the place full of smoke. All were able to escape and the Brigade extinguished the blaze before serious damage was done, though the basement was severely affected. The house was owned by Mr I. Gotlieb and occupied by Mr E. Wilde. The fire is thought to have originated with sparks from a chip heater
